blocks

Ugh. Enzo had terrible night last night. We think it's his teeth that are causing his generally crankiness the last couple days. He woke up at 11:PM and was up until about 1:AM, just sort of being fussy. I finally got him back to sleep by wrapping him up in his blanket.

He was OK this morning, but was a bit of a crank and didn't eat much breakfast. Spent some time in the swing playing with the dogs, which calmed him down for a while.

Milestones: Enzo can pull himself up from a seated to a standing position on his own now if he has something to grab on to. He's really pleased at himself when he does it.

Nanny Note: We took a walk before nap. After nap we sat outside, watched Sesame Street and ate lunch. We took a walk to feed the ducks and geese. Played in the bouncy swing. We read books, played with toys. After nap we played with Betty in the backyard and Enzo swung in the swing.

Enzo's fussiness continued tonight. He just seems really uncomfortable and impatient all the time right now. We did have a little fun when we broke out his alphabet blocks for the first time tonight. There's nothing that motivates him to crawl across the floor like a stack of blocks to knock over.

He had a light dinner before getting too torqued out to continue. Zoe put him to bed just a few minutes after his bath around 8:15. We're really hoping he sleeps tonight, and that this phase he's going through right now is over soon.
