Enzo woke up early this morning, so we piled in the car and took the dogs down to the Rose Bowl soccer fields to throw the ball. When we got home, I fed Enzo a bowl of fruit while Zoe got ready for work. She's on call tonight.
Milestones: Enzo repeated "da da" back to me tonight, and also used the hand sign for milk when he was ready for his bedtime bottle.
Nanny Note: We went for a walk, listened to more Blues and played with blocks. After nap we went for another walk down to Ave 64 to watch the big trucks and machine that was breaking up the street. Then we played outside and watched Sesame Street. Enzo enjoyed the peas, but didn't eat much of anything else. Enzo has been in a nasty mood today. I checked for a fever but he didn't have one. After nap we went for another walk, played outside and listened to Gin House Blues and tried to find just one thing he would eat. At the end of the day we read a bunch of books and had a snack.
Apparently, Enzo was in a bad mood on and off today, but he was a lot of fun when I got home. We went to the park to do some safe walking. Enzo was way more interested in sitting and picking flowers (and then offering them to me) than we was in walking. He can walk pretty well, but if there's anything on the ground that catches his eye, he just sits. Usually what ever it is, ends up in his mouth.
After the park, we ate some mac & cheese and green beans. Then a quick, shallow, lukewarm bath. After some reading and a few more bites of dinner, Enzo went to sleep. He fell asleep without drinking much milk, so wouldn't be surprised if he wakes up soon wanting more.
