finger puppet

Enzo was fussy and cried some this morning for no apparent reason. He was the same last night. I think Zoe being away has finally caught up with him. We had to go to the store this morning because we were out of milk. I decided to run over to Peets to grab a coffee and breakfast too. Kind of a mistake, it took so long. We didn't have time to sit and eat, and we barely made it back in time for Alex's arrival. She fed him breakfast, while I took a two hour conference call locked upstairs in the bedroom.

Nanny Note: We rode around in his car, played outside, read Rainbow Fish and Five Monkeys. After nap we watched Sesame Street, went for a walk, played with toys. Enzo took a short nap and then we played at Gymboree. Enzo had a good day and was in a great mood. At Gymboree he was surrounded by girls and he seemed fascinated by them. He had a good time climbing over obstacles, he is getting so fast.

Enzo didn't want to sit in his chair to eat dinner tonight, so we sat and read book on the couch while we ate instead. After dinner, we played in the front yard. We also practiced a few of his new tricks, so we are ready tomorrow to impress mommy. One trick Enzo learned tonight was putting a finger puppet on his own finger. The first time he did it, he was laughing out loud. He spend some time walking around the house with a little lion finger puppet stuck on his index finger. He went down without a fight around 8:30PM.
