walkabout

Typical morning with Enzo, up at the usual time, morning milk followed by snuggling, then breakfast, then rumpusing. It's much easier to get things done around the house in the mornings now, I can leave Enzo to crawl and walk around the room without fear that he's going to get hurt (too badly).

Nanny Note: We read Polar Bear, Polar Bear and Brown Bear, Brown Bear. We went for a ride in his car, played with the bubbles machine and played with toys. After nap we went to Gymboree. Enzo had a good time but for some reason he is always ready to leave 15 minutes before class is over. After we had lunch we played outside with bubbles then we watched Where the Wild Things Are. After nap we played in the water and had a snack then took a walk.

Enzo was actually a bit of a crank after work tonight for a while. I didn't get him his dinner until 6:30PM, and I think he was over the edge by then. I briefly considered rolling the dice and trying to put him down at 7:30, but I'm glad I didn't. He finally calmed down around 7:45PM and then was in great mood until bedtime, walking all around the house again and again looking for stuff to get in to - dog food, dog water, toilets, stairs, electrical cords. I think the time has come to child proof the house. He has gotten so confident with his walking just in the last day or two. Walking is the number one mode now.
