Enzo and I took the dogs to play fetch again this morning. He had fun walking around with his golf club. He walked way down the field without me today, out to where Harriet waits for the ball. Didn't faze him a bit when he realized how far away he was. Just came toddling back, mumbling and holding his club on his shoulder. Back home, we had french toast and blueberries that mommy had waiting.
Nanny Note: We went to Kidspace to play. Enzo had a great time playing t the construction zone and in the stream. We came home and played with the memory game. He knows all the objects. When I asked him to find a specific object, he went right to it. After lunch we watched a few minutes of Sesame Street but Enzo was sleepy so I put him down for his nap. After nap, we went back to MyGym then we played at Garfield Park. When we ot home, we had a snack and played inside with toys. Enzo has been very silly today.
After work, Wes and her mom and dad came over for a visit. Eric said that on their way home from Pismo Beach today, Wesley sang "the Enzo song" where she sings over and over "Eno, Eno, Eno" - her name for Enzo. Very cute. They play well together, and we noticed tonight that if Wes had a toy that Enzo wanted, he didn't just reach over and grab it - he pointed to it and made noises to let her (and us) know what he wanted. Nice to see him trying to communicate. He had a nice dinner of leftovers, went on a walk, then bath, then lots of books before bed. After he goes to bed, we talk about him and how much we love him. We hope we have another kid soon because all this attention and obsession over Enzo cannot be good for him in the long run.
