big bites

Enzo woke in a good mood and had a nice morning snuggle with mommy. Enzo and I took the dogs to play fetch, and then we came home for a sweet corn cheesy egg thing. Enzo needed to sit at the big dining room table before he could really get into his meal. After breakfast, we played in his room until Alex arrived. When he heard the knock on the door, he got very excited and ran to the gate at the top of the stairs.

Nanny Note: We watched around the neighborhood collecting acorns and looking for numbers. We watched Planet Earth for a while and a little bit of Nemo. We read books, had a snack and played with playdough. We played in his room with toys. I tried to put him down for a nap at 12:30 but he kept crying and then he threw up milk. I bathed him and took him to the park. Enzo slept in the car on the way to the park, woke up in a great mood and we played for the rest of the day outside at the park and here in the yard. All his bedding is in dryer.

He was very excited to see Zoe tonight. He struggled to get out of my arms and then ran to the gate and said "ma ma ma".

We took Enzo to the farmers market tonight. We sat on a park bench because the grassy area was too muddy. Enzo LOVED the fried rice chicken thing that Zoe got for him, and really could not stop eating it. He also at half a hotdog. It was pretty impressive. The Metcalfs stopped by the market too, and Zoe spent some time chatting with Katie while I chased Enzo all over the place. We stopped for ice cream on the way back to the car and Enzo ate a good portion of Zoe's strawberry cone. And then he ate about two dozen little green grapes on the car ride home.

It was good to see him eating so well.

He got upset on the way up to the bath because mommy accidentally mentioned N-E-M-O, but he settled down after he finally got his bottle. Mommy read him some books while daddy put sheets on his mattress, and then we played in his room for a while.
