call room two

Enzo woke up in a happy mood and had a sweet morning snuggy with mommy. He asked that his fish light be turned on and oohed and aahed over it for a bit. He had his usual morning time on the potty and then we played with trains, then hung out with Mr. We had french toast for breakfast, one that Enzo helped to make (he cracked the eggs with daddy's help). Mommy left for work and Enzo and daddy stood on the front steps waving bye and watching the men work on the wall.

Nanny Note: We played with toys, listened to music, played at Kidspace. When we got home he had a bottle and watched Good Night Gorilla. We had a fun a busy morning and by 12:00 he was ready to pass out. I read him some books before nap, put him down and he spent a good 1/2 hour talking to himself in bed. After nap we went to the library.

I took over from Alex around 4:30PM and then we jumped in the car to go see Zoe at work.

Mommy was so so so happy to have Enzo come for a rare visit to work today. She ordered some Thai in preparation and it arrived right when they showed up and Enzo ate a huge dinner of Thai omlet, rice and noodles on mommy's call bed. he made a huge mess and mommy will be picking rice out of her hair tonight. She was so happy to show him off to all the nurses who hadn't seen him in so long. She even took him up to the NICU, where the nurses were shocked at how much he had grown. Its been a long time since he was in there, 5 lbs and dehydrated! He was so sweet and funny, she was very sad to see him leave with daddy.

Enzo tried very hard to fall asleep on the drive home at 6:30PM, but I sang and yelled and lied about watching Nemo when we got home to keep him awake. I even had to give him evening bottle about 2 miles from home because he closed his eyes for a minute. We went straight from the car to the potty, and then Enzo walked around talking to Zoe on the speaker phone with no pants on before bath.

We had a good long bath followed by many books and an extraordinary amount of kisses, giggles, smiles, hugs, and snuggles. I put him down just before 8:PM and he was asleep easily within a few minutes of lights out.
