donut
He really took to Mas, right away. He dragged him around by the hand and forced him to play trains and "tunnel" with him. He gave Mas 3 kisses before he left, and would not let him leave until Mas gave him a kiss on the lips.
We had more homemade donuts again and they were soooo good again. Mommy went to the west side to visit Heather and new baby Sara with Leah and new baby Michael.
Daddy and Enzo took the dogs to the Boston Terrier Meet Up at the dog park. We had to borrow the Pfleegers Volvo because daddy's keys were in mommy's purse. Eric and Wes came too. Back home, Enzo and daddy just hung around, roughhousing, playing with trains, and reading books. Enzo bounced up and down on daddy's gut, and everytime he landed, daddy would shriek and grunt. Enzo thought this was absolutely hilarious. Enzo took a nap in his crib, a rarity for the weekend. After nap he woke up in a funny very mellow mood, had a small lunch, then we all went to run some errands. He got a yummy jamba juice to share with daddy then we all went to the grocery store. He had fun screeching "mommy!' and "daddy!" in the aisles as loud as he could.
Before dinner he helped daddy water the front yard and visited with Fred and Jack. We had some sloppy sloppy joes for dinner and he ate a lot! We all played with trains, then Enzo had a super super bubbly bath with daddy before having a nighttime snuggy with mommy and lots of books. For the first time today, when we asked him, "where's Enzo?" he pointed to himself and gave a proud little smile. Bed right at 8 with no protest at all.
He was such a fun, sweet bug the whole weekend, we are sad that it is over.
