enzomatic: pizza pizza

Mommy and Enzo shared a bowl of cereal this morning before he and I headed out to take the dogs to Friday day care. As per usual Enzo stood and watched the dogs at the glass for a while before wandering around the store.

I had a meeting across town, so Alex took Enzo on his usual pre-school routine. She met Zoe at school, and Zoe took over. Enzo had a pretty good day today. He made it through most of class, but Zoe had to pull him out of closing circle because he was clambering to leave.

Nanny Note: After school we went to play at Grandma Jean's. We had a small lunch, played with cats and read books. I tried to get him to take another nap but he didn't sleep. When we came home we played outside with toys. He is in a very silly mood today.

Enzo ate a late afternoon snack and then we headed up to the Pleegers for dinner. Wes and Enzo played with each other and with little Nacho. We sat and had our pizza but Enzo wasn't very hungry since he'd already pretty much had dinner. So we let him out of his chair like we always do, and he went and played in Wes' room.

Back home we had a nice hot bubbly bath, and then mommy and Enzo read many book. We tried to take a poop on the potty but Enzo wanted to play with his trains instead. Even without an afternoon nap, he was still going strong until almost 8:PM. I think he's just excited to have us both home after a few nights of boring old dad. Finally we said enough is enough and put him into his crib. He was upset for a minute but quickly fell asleep.
