the great pumpkin

Something woke Enzo up at 4:30AM this morning and he wouldn't fall back asleep. So I went in wth a bottle to put him back down. After he finished his bottle, he sat up and grabbed a book and asked me to read it. At 4:45AM. So I turned on the lights and we read books and played, and soon mommy was up to join us.

Enzo had a soft boiled egg again for breakfast this morning, but wasn't too into it. He drank some smoothie in the car ride out to doggie day care, and then fell asleep on the ride home. I left him the back seat in the driveway, and he slept for almost an hour. I had to wake him to go to a meeting at 9:AM. He was upset for a second but then saw that Alex was there, and that made him feel better.

Nanny Note: I put on Nemo for Enzo to watch. We played upstairs for a while and read some books. We went to visit Grandma Jean at 10:AM. We came home to have a snack, read books and play before the cleaning ladies came. At home we had a snack, read books, played outside and wrecked the train set.

When Zoe and I got home, Enzo was in a great mood. We went for a walk down the side walk. Enzo brought his sand toy wagon for some reason. He took his time and pushed it the whole way. On the way back to the house, I picked him up to speed things along, and he got very upset. I tried to calm him down in the living room, and then out in the back yard. He cried and laid on the ground, pretty much a tantrum. I let him work it out on his own, something we're trying to do lately, and then got him interested in playing fetch with Betty. He thought that was great, and spent some time running around with her.

We had pasta for dinner, and then we went out to the pumpkin patch in South Pas to get some pumpkins for the house. Enzo loved the pumpkin patch, but was a little scared of all the spooky Halloween decorations. The Pfleeger showed up to to grab some pumpkins also. Wes was not happy about the spooky stuff at all.

Back home we had our usual bath, milk, poop on the potty, and many books before bed at about 8:PM.
