wild fire

Enzo started his day early this morning snuggling with daddy first, and then rolling around with mommy in our bed. He had some fruit and pancakes for breakfast, and then went on a nice walk with daddy and the dogs. We got home in time to say "bye bye" to Zoe who is on call tonight.

Nanny Note: We read books and went to visit Grandma Jean and the kittens.. On the walk home, he fell asleep so I put him to bed. I tried to wake him up but he was totally out. After nap we played with trains then I took him to Kidspace. We did everything there. Enzo had a great time and when we got home we watched Wild Things then we played outside for the rest of the day.

I got home right at 5:30PM tonight, and Enzo was happy to see me. "Dah-dee!"

We iChatted with grandma Dee and grandpa Buzz in NY. Enzo liked seeing himself on the computer screen, and was waving and saying "hi" before Dee and Buzz were even connected. He was very cute, and performed a few tricks — pointing to various body parts and imitating animals. And of course, he signed off with a hearty "bye bye".

I let Enzo watch a few minutes of Nemo while I prepared his random microwaved bits dinner. He actually did really well, focusing mainly on the leftover beefy noodles and the White Castle cheese burger. High class around here tonight. He did like his cheesy broccoli too.

After dinner, Enzo took a little poop in potty and then peed under the train table. Hey, one of two isn't bad.

Then we took a short bath, followed by many books and a lot of kisses. I told him one more book before bed, and then I picked up up, gave him a kiss and laid him down in his crib. He stayed curled up under his blanket, and I think went straight to sleep.

Couldn't have been easier tonight for his old dad.
