exoskeleton

Enzo slept in and woke up in a great mood, which was nice because Zoe was on call last night. We went to Cindy's for breakfast, and then I handed him over to Alex when we got home. He showed Alex his diver man mask, and she adjusted it to fit his head. As I was going upstairs, I heard Alex teaching him how to say "exoskeleton". Part of some lesson she was learning for her job at Kidspace.

I took Enzo back from Alex around 10:30AM, and we headed up to school. He fell asleep on the way, but I woke him when we arrived. He was a little bit touchy today — getting upset and asking for milk and "back home" whenever he bumped his head or had a tense moment with a friend over some toy. I took him outside a couple times to calm him down, but he always decided to go back inside, and we made it through class. He had fun running around outside after snack, although he banged his head on the water pump spout twice in the span of about five minutes.

Nanny Note: We watched the demo guys throw trash into the big bin, and we talked about giant African millipedes. After school we played with toys, and went to Kidspace.

Turns out that his 15 minute nap on the way to school was the only sleep he'd get today, but he was fun this afternoon despite that. When Alex dropped him back to the house, we played in his tent, and then Zoe attempted to feed him some dinner. He was more interested in running around with his shovels in the back yard.

After a walk down the block pushing his wheelbarrow, we came back to chill with some Hat and Shallow Seas before bath. He wanted to read the Giving Tree again before bed.
