amazing things

Enzo woke up briefly at 5:AM, but then fell back asleep despite the volume and persistence of Mr.s yowling. He was in a very good mood this morning. Usually he's kind of grumpy when we first get him from his crib. But today he was in there smiling and rolling around. When I brought him into bed for his milk, he wondered where mommy was. He played quietly with his trains while I made breakfast.

Nanny Note: We went to the Zoo. At home, we had snack and played with toys, then we watched Ocean Deep. We played chase outside but then wanted to come back inside to play.

I came down to get Enzo from Alex at about 5:PM, and when I asked him about his day, he said "saw amazing things!" and waved his hand in a big circle.

When Zoe got home, we were "throwing ball betty" and grilling in the back yard. He was happy to see mommy, and didn't want to let her out of his sight. It was all about mommy for a while there, and at one point he told me to go inside so he could have some alone time with her.

Enzo really liked his kalbi short ribs and rice tonight. Zoe helped him with dinner while I read his Tonka truck book over and over and over.

We stopped by to say Hi to the Pfleegers on our family walk. Enzo and Wes played well together - sharing some toys, and goofing in the cardboard house. Back home we chilled with a few minutes of rat movie, then bath and bed.
