butterfly
Zoe is on call tonight, so Enzo and I went to Senior Fish for a burrito. Enzo had a good dinner of his new favorite — beans, rice and avocado. After, we went up the street for a mint chip cone. We sat on the bench out front and watched the cars go by.
Back home, we played lacrosse with Betty and Harriet, and then played in the front yard with the dump truck.
As I was getting Enzo's post-bath milk ready, I glanced over at Fuzzy, and much to my surprise there was a big butterfly sitting there looking back at me. "Fuzzy turned butterfly! Fuzzy turned butterfly!", I yelled. Enzo jumped off the couch and ran into the kitchen. He couldn't believe his eyes, and then wanted to "see fuzzy right now", which means i want to reach in there and grab fuzzy right now. I brought out his step stool and we looked at the new and improved Fuzzy for a few minutes, and then I mixed up some sugar water for him. Hopefully he'll live until morning, so Enzo can let him go.
It was getting late, so we had a quick bath and a couple books before bed at 8.
