butterfly

After a good long snuggle with mommy this morning, Enzo and I took the dogs to daycare, and then stood in line for 15 minutes to get "hot dog bagel". We raced back to the house to meet Alex just in time.

Nanny Note: We went to Eaton Canyon again. We played in the river, inspected a cool old tree stump, saw a blue jay, lizard, horse and all the live animals in the nature center. Enzo had fun playing with all the puppets. Once we got home we watched a movie and had lunch. After we made peanut butter playdough! That was a big hit! After I took the peanut butter playdough away from him we planted our beans. Then we played at the park.

Zoe is on call tonight, so Enzo and I went to Senior Fish for a burrito. Enzo had a good dinner of his new favorite — beans, rice and avocado. After, we went up the street for a mint chip cone. We sat on the bench out front and watched the cars go by.

Back home, we played lacrosse with Betty and Harriet, and then played in the front yard with the dump truck.

As I was getting Enzo's post-bath milk ready, I glanced over at Fuzzy, and much to my surprise there was a big butterfly sitting there looking back at me. "Fuzzy turned butterfly! Fuzzy turned butterfly!", I yelled. Enzo jumped off the couch and ran into the kitchen. He couldn't believe his eyes, and then wanted to "see fuzzy right now", which means i want to reach in there and grab fuzzy right now. I brought out his step stool and we looked at the new and improved Fuzzy for a few minutes, and then I mixed up some sugar water for him. Hopefully he'll live until morning, so Enzo can let him go.

It was getting late, so we had a quick bath and a couple books before bed at 8.
