firetruck

We had our usual very nice family snuggy this morning after Enzo said good morning to all the animals. We got ourselves together and headed out to Pfleeger bakery for breakfast. We saw the neighborhood firemen walking around the block so daddy took Enzo for walk over to the firestation and the nice guys opened it up so that Enzo could take a look at the trucks. They even opened up the door and let Enzo sit in the front seat and "drive". He was beyond thrilled. He got pretty comfortable sitting in the drivers seat, and so started grabbing at levers and buttons. Fireman Kevin said, "Enzo that's the parking brake, please don't touch that."

We went to the park after breakfast to run him around and he had fun sliding down the slide and playing with the other kids. We hit Borders after the park and Enzo was running around and took a spill. We heard him say to himself, "Run too fast and fell down!"

When we got home we had lunch then he sprayed the hose for the dogs and we filled up the pool - Wes and her daddy stopped by as well. It was hot in Pasadena, a sign that summer is on its way! After about an hour of splashing around in the hot sun, we brought him inside for his nap. It was an epic weekend nap - the longest one ever - almost 2 1/2 hours! Mommy and daddy and he dogs took a nap as well and that's probably why he slept for so long - the house was quiet and dark and cool.

After we all woke up, we had a snack and headed out to the grocery store. Enzo was in such a good mood - its amazing what a 2 1/2 hour nap will do for you. We went over to the Pfleegers for dinner, and even though Enzo did not eat much he had a good time hanging out with everyone. We came home after dinner, watched a little Ocean Deep, had a bath and some books and off to bed.
