fly away fuzzy
Afterwards we went over to the park to run off some of the sugar we ate. It was the first time really that we saw Enzo actually play with another kid instead of just doing "parallel play". He had a really great time.
When we got home we released Fuzzy the butterfly into the wild. The second Fuzzy crawled up on to the flowers next to the house, he rolled out his long tongue and slurped down some nectar. A second later, he was off, flying up into the air and over the neighbors house. Afterwards Enzo said it was "amazing!" It really was pretty cool.
After the Great Butterfly Release of 2008, we ate some lunch and tried to put Enzo down for a nap but were utterly defeated. We took the dogs to the dog park and mommy dropped us off while she went to the store but I had to give her an SOS call about 20 minutes later because Enzo took a massive poop in his diaper and I had no spares. It was so big I couldn't wait for Zoe so I took it off and let Enzo sit on a bench just in his shorts. He looked up at me and said, "daddy, pee pee" and let 'er rip, right there in his shorts. Mommy showed up just in time.
When we got home we chilled and watched some rat movie then packed up again and went to Garfield park. We ran into Enzo's friend Eliza, who is going to be one of his classmates next year.
We had a nice family dinner and he ate a ton of noodles. We went on a family walk after dinner, then had a quick bath, some books and an early bedtime because of the no nap situation. Mommy is heading to work for an overnight call tonight, so I expect to be up alone with him at 6:15AM.
