Enzo slept in until 7:30AM, which was great because I was up very late working. I brought him in to bed for a morning snuggle. After he drank his milk, he pretended to be a diver man swimming around on the bed. But then diver man became very serious and quiet, so we jumped up and sat on the potty. We looked at one ofhis DK fish books. When we came across a little drawing of an angler fish, Enzo started a little monologue about his love for fish and how he could look at them all day. It went something like this:

"love angler fish so much. look all day. sharks rays, all day. clownfish, all day. humpback whales, all day. fish, all day. everything, all day."

Each time he slowly said "aaaaalllllll daaaaaayyyyy", he made a big circular motion with his open hand. It was amazing and funny and so cute.

We made a quick run to the store, and then met Zoe at Pfleeger bakery. He was soooo happy to see her, and would not let her out of his sight. We had our usual coffee and croissant and sat outside. It was very nice. We walked over to the park to play on the structure and we both chased Enzo around the field of clover until he was utterly out of breath and exhausted. Or so we thought.

On our way back to the car we ran into the Pfleegers and went back in to the bakery for a bit. When we got home, we threw the ball for Betty for awhile and fed the fish. Enzo noticed Harriet chewing on his stuffed sea turtle, and said "hey! hey! not harry's turtle. enzo's turtle!". We went out to the grocery store and invited the Pfleegers over for dinner. Enzo took a very short nap, and woke up cranky but quickly rallied.

Then the mail came!

Enzo got into Pacific Oaks Children's School for the fall! Such good news, we were so happy and excited about it because it is so hard to get into that school. Enzo had no idea what all the hooting and hollering was about but he was excited as well.

When the Pfleeger clan came over, we hung out in the backyard with the dogs, had some burgers and beers, and had mini ice cream cones for dessert. Enzo had a great time with Wes and they played well together. It was nice for him to see how well she can use her words and express herself verbally.

After the Pfleegers left, the Frekking clan came over and hung out for awhile. Enzo was happy to see Jack and his friend and little brother. It was such a busy day for him, he was absolutely bleary - eyed and exhausted and we put him to bed easily after a quick bath and some books.
