undelievable

We had another nice start to the day by having a family snuggy in bed with milk and books. Enzo got his grouch on after that, though, and did not eat much breakfast.

I watched Enzo for a bit while Alex went to Kidspace for a few hours. We met Wes and Eric at Garfield for some digging and climbing, and a few bites of lunch. Enzo ran way down the hill by himself, and then fell in the mud. He walked slowly back holding his muddy hands for me to wipe, and then ran off again. After the park, I drove him around and around but he wouldn't fall asleep.

Nanny Note: We played with toys, played with bubbles and watched a little bit of Nemo. Before nap we read books. Then we went to Kidspace.

When mommy got home he was in a much better mood than when she left. He said to Alex as she was leaving, "Bye bye Allie, see you later!" He was full of funny things tonight - all stuff he must have picked up from Alex or kidspace: "Peee-eeew! Smells like poo poo" "Hock a loogie" "Un-de-leivable!" He just throws this stuff out, randomly, and it always cracks us up. He also has started singing a lot more - he will say in a rather tuneless, singsong voice, "Harriet, harriet, laaaaaa" (if he is singing about Harriet), then will turn to you and ask, "like that song?" You can get him to sing about pretty much everything, but it is always the same general theme: "(blank), (blank), laaaaaaaa...like that song?"

We had yummy sliders and tater tots for dinner - Enzo promptly broke apart his burger and dipped his bun in ketchup and licked the ketchup off, then broke apart the burger and ate it in chunks. We had the organic, whole foods tater tots. Definitely inferior to the trans fat ore-ida tater tots.

After dinner we took a family walk and met up with all the neighborhood kids: Ava, Estrella, Jack, Trey and Wes. We helped Nacho learn to use her doggy door by using Harriet and Betty as temptation. It worked like gangbusters! When we got home we took a fun bath, had more milk then read books until Enzo said, "one book then teeth".
