global warming

Enzo woke up bright and early but was in such a good mood all day, we didn't really mind. We headed out for some breakfast early but it was already in the 90s by 8:30am. By the time we got home, Enzo was itching to get out his clothes and into Jack's pool. Jack came home with us with his grandma to swim in our pool for a bit.

After that it was quite possibly the laziest day ever. We ichatted with A-ma and Enzo was able to say hello in Chinese to her. When she asked him what he had been up to, he answered, "I peed on the floor and ate all daddy's chips". We tried a little experiment with trying to keep his diaper off and just his underwear on, and asked him to let us know when he needed to go on the potty. He was very good at letting us know...as he was peeing. On the couch, on the floor. Needless to say, the experiment was over in about 15 minutes.

We watched some Planet Earth and some of a surfing movie; we had a picnic in the living room and had lunch; we went in and out of the pool and dove and slid and jumped and swatted bees away. A couple times, Enzo went striaght over the front of his "surf board" and face first into the water. We ichatted a little with Grandma Dee even though Enzo did not have much to say.

Enzo and mommy fell asleep on the couch...unfortunately that nixed any chance of a proper nap later in the day. He got a little crazed as the day wore on but was funny and cute and happy.

Jack visited a little bit later with his mommy and Enzo had dinner. He started asking for his milk a little early so we knew his no nap day was catching up with him. It was an easy bath, books then off to bed.
