i'm freaking out!

Enzo gave mommy a kiss or two goodbye, and then I took him to get breakfast. I'm ashamed to say we drove through McDonalds, because we were trying to get home quickly to play with the dogs. I got some breakfast plate and a coffee. The second the woman handed the bag through the window, Enzo said "french fries right now daddy". I handed him a hash brown trying to explain that it's a lot like a french fry just bigger. No dice. We circled the block, and went inside to get a small fires. Unbeknownst to me, they do not make fries in the morning. When he heard the guy behind the counter say there were no fries, he believed it, and didn't mention it again.

Back home, we ate pancakes and sausage and threw ball betty harry.

Nanny Note: We played at Kidspace. We played in the garden the whole morning then we came home for lunch. I read him some books but it took a while for him to fall asleep. He was up in his room jumping in his crib, I think he feel asleep around 1. After nap, we went to Gymboree to play. Enzo was WILD! We had a good time.

When Enzo saw me come through the door, he ran in circles in the living room screaming. When I knelt down, he circled around and ran into my arms for a big hug. Ugh, it felt so good. Then he pulled away, looked me right in the eye, and said "i'm freaking out!" and laughed.

I took him to the farmers market to meet Eric and Wes, but they weren't there. Enzo walked around looking, "where's eric and wesley?" We usually split a chicken quesadilla, but tonight he ate the whole thing himself. He walked around, mouth stuffed with huge bites, saying "i'm so hungry. i'm so hungry." I got a few looks from the surrounding parents. We sat on the curb watching the bubble guy while we ate our shave ice, and then headed home.

I let Enzo watch a few minutes of Totoro while I ran his bath and took the trash cans to the curb. We had nice easy bath, books and beyond.

Enzo was really sweet tonight. He really wanted to be close to me - putting his shoulder on my head as I carried him, holding my hand as we walked, sitting in my lap while he ate dinner, climbing on me, hugs, kisses, pats on the back, and "forehead". I don't think he went beyond arms reach all night. Little bug.
